Since its founding in 2007, the Hawai‘i Agricultural Foundation has grown from supporting small farmers to becoming a statewide leader in agricultural education and community connection. What began with efforts like the Ag Park at Kunia has expanded into programs that link classrooms to careers and inspire Hawai‘i’s next generation of agricultural leaders.
Today, in partnership with the State of Hawai‘i and the Department of Education, HAF provides hands-on learning experiences for K–12 students statewide—highlighting agriculture’s essential role in our economy, food sustainability, and long-term resilience. Through education, workforce development, and community engagement, we are cultivating future leaders in agriculture, ag-tech, and agri-business.
Our refreshed brand reflects this evolution and our continued commitment to adapt to Hawai‘i’s changing needs. Grounded in connection and education that lends itself to the land, it represents our path forward as we work to build a stronger, more food-secure Hawai‘i for generations to come.
