Nine school kitchen teams from Hawai‘i Island and O‘ahu have been selected to compete in the first-ever Localicious® School Kitchen Cook-off at the Hawai‘i State Farm Fair on July 12. The competition celebrates the creativity of Hawai‘i's school kitchen professionals while supporting efforts to increase the use of locally grown, raised, and caught ingredients in public schools. Join us to cheer on the teams, discover innovative school meal creations, and enjoy a full day of food, agriculture, and family-friendly activities at the fair.

Severe storms and flooding have caused widespread damage across Hawaiʻi’s agricultural community — impacting farms that grow our food, raise livestock, and support local food systems statewide. The Hawaiʻi Farmers’ Disaster Relief Fund will provide direct support to members of our agricultural community impacted by recent Kona Low storms. Donate today and join our effort to support our farmers.
