The Hawaiʻi Agricultural Foundation (HAF) and Hawaiʻi Farm Bureau (HFB) extend a heartfelt mahalo to Kyo-ya Hotels & Resorts, its dedicated team, and the community for raising more than $50,000 through its Burgers & Mai Tais fundraising promotion in support of the Hawaiʻi Farmers Disaster Relief Fund.

The campaign invited guests dining at participating Kyo-ya properties to make a difference by supporting Hawaiʻi's agricultural community as it recovers from the devastating 2026 Kona Low storms. The funds will help provide relief grants to farmers, ranchers, fishers, and agricultural businesses impacted by the disaster, helping them rebuild and continue producing local food for our communities.

HAF and HFB are deeply grateful to Kyo-ya Hotels & Resorts for its leadership and commitment to supporting Hawaiʻi's agricultural community, and to every guest who contributed to this remarkable effort. Together, we are helping strengthen the future of local agriculture and food security across our islands.
