“We are the only organic portobello farm in Hawaii,” said Fung Yang, owner of Small Kine Farm. “We pride ourselves on offering the freshest and highest quality mushrooms you can find.”

Since 2009, Small Kine Farm has operated on a 4.7 acre of land in Waimānalo, supplying fresh, certified organic mushrooms to specialty grocers, local restaurants, and directly to customers at farmers’ markets.
Emerging from a green recycling company, the farm utilizes organic material from its recycling operations to create its own compost and a high-tech pasteurization and growing process to produce safe, high-quality mushrooms with superior taste, texture, and longevity. Yang is dedicated to learning from nature and mirroring ecosystems by promoting biodiversity, reusing underutilized resources, and growing organic produce to benefit the community.
